The location? Hard to beat. As central as Munich gets – and yet somehow, it feels like you've escaped the city entirely. The English Garden is basically on the doorstep, the tram stops right out front. And yes, there's parking too.
Tivo is fully accessible and open to everyone – young, old, with a pram or a wheelchair. Your four-legged friends are welcome too.
A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Schwabing
As soon as the sun comes out, Tivo really comes into its own. On our spacious outdoor terrace you can ease into the afternoon, enjoy an after-work glass of wine, or start your Sunday with a laid-back lunch in the sun. From the terrace you also get the perfect view of the tennis court – entertainment included!
Terrace seats are popular, so booking ahead is worth it, especially on weekends and when the weather's good. Inside, it's cozy and sheltered – ideal for cooler evenings or when you simply want a little more quiet. The interior is warm and inviting, with the kind of relaxed charm that makes you want to linger.
Moules Frites
Moules frites aren't just delicious – they're also the perfect dish to share with friends over a glass of rosé. So during the dark months with an R in them, we're serving them at an unbeatable €22 per person. That lifts the mood, doesn't it? Please be sure to reserve.

and drink as much prosecco as you can at a €12 flatrate. Childcare included (and, when the weather's good, tennis lessons for the kids, too). We're looking forward to relaxed Sundays with you in our clubhouse.
Family Friendly is Simply How We Do Things
Kid-friendly restaurants in Munich are easy to find. But one where the little ones are genuinely kept busy and parents can actually eat in peace? That's rarer. At Tivo, we took that seriously.
Right on the grounds there's a playground where kids can run wild, plus a ping-pong table. That leaves the grown-ups free to enjoy lunch or a glass of wine in peace. No constant jumping up, no guilty conscience – just relaxed family time.
When putting together our menu, we always make sure to include simple, kid-friendly dishes like pasta pomodoro or Pommes Schranke (fries with ketchup and mayo). On Sundays, our Family Lunch even comes with childcare for kids aged 5 and up.
That makes Tivo one of the few restaurants in Munich where a family outing is truly restful – for everyone involved.
